New course release: Compressed Air Safety Training

The British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) state that each year in Great Britain there are on average 150 dangerous occurrences of which about six result in fatal or serious injury.

Evidently, working with compressed air can pose great risk to staff that work with it, and they must be provided with the tools and knowledge to work safely.

With that said, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just launched our Compressed Air Safety Training course! The course can be used by anyone, whether you’re an employer responsible for the safety of your workforce or an employee who works with compressed air regularly.

By the end of this CPD Accredited training course, users will:

  • Know what compressed air is, why it’s used, and what dangers it poses
  • Be able to identify the key components of a compressed air system
  • Recognise some tools and equipment that use compressed air
