About this course
This training is specifically targeted at adults working within the education sector. It provides an overview of how to care for a child as well as their medical needs. As well as this, the legal responsibility that each adult has for a child. Efficiently trained staff will reduce the risk of harm to both students and staff.
By following the guidelines set by The Department for Education & Skills and The Department of Health, we ensure participants are given the best training. This course will provide a sound knowledge of medication use and touch upon specialist treatments for specific illnesses in children.
It’s a great introduction to administering medication in schools or a handy refresher – However, in order to administer medication to children in schools you need formal training from an NHS practitioner, this course is not a substitute for this training.
