Happy with this

Too long and too ideological

I found some aspects of the course to be 'on theme' with regards to how we use certain materials, re-use, recycling, environmental sensitivities etc. However, some of it was pure ideological. For example, 'human evolution' and 'climate change!' Firstly I don't believe the theory of evolution at all. It's very mention in the course added nothing. Then 'climate change!' Again, it's very debateable if mankind is having a significant effect on the climate. This however does not mean we cannot act responsibly when it comes to resources, energy, waste etc. Pulling on ideological does not make me learn better.

Priorities need rethinking

If the meat & dairy industry accounts for 25% of global carbon emissions, why was reducing meat & dairy consumption a short afterthought towards the end? Surely this would eclipse all of the other recommendations combined so should have been the number one priority.

a really good summary

Well presented and at a good pace.

The information was presented well and at a good pace. I was particularly impressed to see that food consumption (i.e. consuming less meat and dairy) was mentioned as a way to reduce our impact on the environment. Well done for including this in the presentation as it is a simple switch that most people can easily make.
