This course helped a lot to understand the process of moving & lifting someone safely. It also helped to recognise where to lifted & moved and how to do them safely. And most importantly is to understand & follow these safe systems of work or procedure considering the individuals risk assessment and reviewed regularly, and of course our safety.

A lot of information in a short space of time. Enjoyed the content and the way in which it was presented. I would have liked to have seen the move with crossing legs at ankle, as it was mentioned a fair few times but never illustrated. The video however, was extremely informative, clear and concise. Thank you.

Useful Reminder!
This course served to remind me of the body mechanics involved in moving/handling patients, in order to avoid patient and self injury. I particularly like that it was very detailed in the description of various patient maneuvers in the form of visual aids.
