Very good -covers all that is needed

This course was broken down into manageable sections with sensible explanations and revisiting of key themes. The end of section summaries were good, too. More use of 2 or 3 questions would have enhanced the experience. Overall , the course was of sufficient length and depth to cover the topic thoroughly.

Interactive, easy to follow, clear,

Really great tool one of the best I have used – easy to understand, not overwhelming, clear, concise. Thanks

U can do it in own time

Excellent

Clearly presented and comprehensive.

My one reservation is that the acting in the various situations was unconvincing. It was all too obvious that what was being shown was contrived. I realise that, given the nature of the course, realism would not be appropriate, but it could have been better done. For example, there was a situation where a girl had her head on the desk and the teacher was wondering what to do. There appeared to be nobody else in the room. And when a boy came to talk to a teacher on a confidential matter, the door was left open, for all passers-by to hear what was being said.

Excellent and comprehensive training cou

As a school governor it is critical to understand the breadth and depth regarding one's responsibilities in safeguarding children and I feel this course has given me the knowledge and capability to undertake my duties.

Excellent online course

it was concise and to the point, would recommend to anyone that has a responsibility to looking after children.

Very thorough and well planned.

The presenter delivered the course content in a user friendly way, not easy to do with such an information based content. The structure developed the sections well in a logical sequence. I would have preferred the test to have been in sections after each topic so that it was a test of understanding rather than a memory test.

A sound set of slides with clear informa

Just one area of ambiguity was whether to report to the DSL first or write the report. I chose to inform the DSL which was incorrect. As a supply teacher one has to be extra careful here as some senior management may feel you are going above them by writing a report first prior to discussing it with them in the first place. This was my only incorrect answer and I answered it as a visitor/temporary teacher to the school.

So worth doing

Very happy I passed this and gained this course for working with kids it was upsetting to watch at times but so worth doing thanku
