Excellent awareness raising

This is an excellent course which is very informative as it provides great examples of the different forms of abuse in children, how to identify them and deal with them.

This is very good course.

This is very good course with clear and easy-to-understand information, especially for me who speaks English as a second language.

Great course

Really thorough and informative course. Simple to use and helpful information.

May need separating

There is a lot of information to take in so it may need to be divided in separate courses, for example Prevent. Also their needs to be more illustrations case studies to help people relate it to real life situations.

Good

Really clear and simple to follow. I had a mistake on one question at the end so the test sent me back, I then couldn't complete the last few questions. Also one question I felt was misleading. it asked what you should not do following a disclosure. I would have put contact the abuser however the course does say avoid using leading questions which was a choice. I felt this was misleading.

Comprehensive and clearly explained.

This was comprehensive and thorough with useful references and additional reading. It was well organised and structured and I found it a useful reminder of the kinds of abuse and the potential evidence. Despite the dismal content, it was neither exaggerated nor melodramatric. While the digital images helped to maintain concentration in each section it seemed inappropriate that the adults talking to the young people would sit opposite them behind a desk. A more informal and less intimidating seating arrangement should have been shown for child/young person v the supporting adult.

Very clear and comprehensive course

An excellent training course that reminds teachers of their responsibilities in keeping children safe, including how to recognise the signs of different types of child abuse, how to respond, record and report them and to whom.

Really clear and to the point

a bit too long

The course is an hour, maybe it could be split into two shorter courses?

Informative, refresher, resources

Having completed Safeguarding before, I found your course a useful refresher and update. I liked the short introductory presentations and the useful resources for additional reading and reference.
