Find out more about Charlotte Cottrell
When did you join iHasco?
I joined iHasco in June 2018, straight out of university!
What do you do there?
At iHasco, it is my responsibility to interpret the script into moving graphics.
What did you want to do when you were at school?
When I was really young, I wanted to be a police officer because it was the closest thing to being a real life super hero. As I got older I got more interested in art and animation and here I am now!
What do you get up to when you’re not at iHasco?
When I'm not working I'm an avid knitter. I taught myself to knit when I was eight and I've kept it up in my spare time to this day.
Where in the world would you most like to visit?
I really want to go to New Zealand one day, from studying images from the internet, it looks like an extremely beautiful place.
What’s your favourite food?
I've got an insane sweet tooth but my favourite is ice cream!
Tell us something we don’t know about you…
People get confused because apparently I sound American despite having no American relatives (probably too many animated TV shows as a kid).
Favourite book or movie?
Oh gosh, this changes so frequently, I would say at the moment it is between Shape of Water because it was visually stunning and the story and the characters brought me to tears. However, I really enjoyed Thor Ragnarok because I wasn't expecting so much colour and humour from the film and it was a very entertaining surprise.
