Improved translations have arrived
Posted 6 years ago
Back in May we spoke about some upcoming improvements to translated courses which would provide both end users and administrators with a much improved experience when using translated course content. Well as you may have already noticed over the last few days, we’ve been rolling these changes live and we’ve now consolidated all existing translated courses with their english language versions.
We didn’t just stop there though, we’ve also taken the time to translate the entire training suite so when your users indicate a language preference, we’ll deliver everything to them in their native language and seamlessly present course content matching that when it’s available. We’ve also significantly increased the range of languages which we provide support for, covering 20 of the most popular European and International languages:
- English (British)
- Bulgarian (български)
- Czech (čeština)
- Danish (Dansk)
- Dutch (Nederlands)
- French (Français)
- German (Deutsche)
- Hungarian (Magyar)
- Italian (Italiano)
- Japanese (日本語)
- Latvian (Latviešu)
- Lithuanian (Lietuviškai)
- Polish (Polski)
- Portuguese (Português)
- Romanian (Română)
- Russian (Pусский)
- Slovak (Slovenský)
- Spanish (Español)
- Turkish (Türk)
- Welsh (Cymraeg)
We’ll be onboarding additional translations of our most popular courses over the next few weeks but we already have a massive 121 translations across 33 programmes as it stands today. Best of all… these machine translations are free if you have a corresponding course license. We hope you find these changes useful and are looking forward to introducing additional features over the coming months which will improve translations even further.
