Section 1
Slips, Trips, and Falls are some of the most common causes of accidents at work. The measures taken, clothes worn and activities might vary from home. In this section, we will look at the common causes of slips, trips and falls at home and what can be done to help prevent accidents in your home.

Section 2
There are things to consider that are incredibly important when you’re at home, but users might not think of in a shared workspace. In this section we'll help users think about creating boundaries to separate their home and work life, finding the right workspace and creating a productive workstation, and creating strategies to avoid, or address, loneliness and isolation.

Section 3
In our third section, we will consider the effects that manual handling and DSE can take on your body and the differences between working in a workplace to working at home when using DSE. Staff will learn about their posture, setting up their home workstation, lighting, glare and manual handling in the home to help significantly reduce the chances of any accidents occurring.

Section 4
Fire is a hazard that can quickly cause considerable harm. In this section, we'll look at the risk that fire can pose in the home. We'll look at things in employees' homes that are potential fuel sources, the importance of smoke alarms, evacuation in case of a fire and ensuring electrical equipment is being used correctly and not damaged.

Section 5
Employers are responsible for staff's health and safety when they work from home and whilst they carry out work-related activities. Employees also have a duty to follow their employer’s safety policies and procedures. In this fifth section, we'll look at what employers should consider for their homeworkers. This includes buddy systems, check-ins, preparing for emergencies, risk assessments, visitors to the home & more.

Section 6
In this final section, we will look at employees' mental health as they work from home. Users will learn about the importance of a healthy work/life balance and how to create boundaries between the two. The three boundaries we look at are physical, mental, and social. Staff will also learn about the risk of loneliness and isolation and what they can do to maintain connections and avoid loneliness.

Way too long for the content
This user gave this course a rating of 3/5 stars
Very informative
The course is very informative. The duration is about an hour which is quite significant and intense. Even though you can start and come back to the course the course does not lend it's self well for this.
takes way to long
51 min allocated – took 2 hours – swirling , freezing all the time
A bit long whenb you are also trying to work

REally good course, I appreciated the sections on how to organise my workstation
This user gave this course a rating of 5/5 stars
Repetative
While the content is relevant there is a lot of verbatim repetition between this and the previous two sessions which is frustrating. Also it fails to acknowledge that not everyone has much choice as to location of home office spaces or offer solutions as to how you might overcome these challenges.
Comprehensive and good visuals
It was nice to see some humour in what may otherwise have been a very dull and dry topic, more of this please. Perhaps think about a more diverse representation of non disabled and disabled people?
I pressed the back button in error at one point and it made me listen to the whole section again. Pretty poor that it can't be coded that a person has already watched that section.

Why is this training important?
Compliance
It’s important that you comply with the law and know the ways in which it affects you and the way you work.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Although homeworkers do not travel to a fixed place of work, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 must be applied to homeworkers to ensure their safety.
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations or MHSWR requires employers to carry out risk assessments of a homeworkers environment, this should identify any risks and allow the employer to control them.
