The training was simple, clear, and easy to understand, with the support of videos.
The training helped me understand the procedures, importance, and strategies for reporting accidents in the workplace. I learned how to identify and manage risks, carry out risk assessments, and appreciate the importance of accident reporting in helping to prevent similar incidents from happening again. The training also covered when an incident must be reported under RIDDOR, where accident records should be stored, and how long they must be retained. In addition, I learned about the different types of accident report books, including electronic reporting systems, and the responsibilities of those in charge of maintaining these records securely to prevent unauthorised access to confidential personal data.
