Valuable general knowledge, even outside my role
Although my current job function doesn’t involve direct engagement with vehicle maneuvering or site traffic control, I found the Banksman Essentials Training to be highly informative. I am new to HGV driving and it is useful to know that there are basic support mechanisms to help rather than a complete mish-mash of made up signals
A very useful course. I was unaware there were basic and simple instructions to follow but now I am fully appreciative of the role of the Banksman and will use them when necessary. Useful to know what I can and can't expect of someone in the various yards I visit
