A lot of this may seem common sense to some people but it is best to cover everything in these situations. The one thing I would quibble is that the course states hovering over a link in an email will reveal the true URL – this is usually true but, actually, this can be hidden. I would amend to say that hovering over a link will usually show the url and, if it does not, then that is itself suspicious and should be reported.

I found the training very clear, well laid out and useful. The example of the real world cyber crime helped to see where an organisation could be targeted. I am generally very careful of many of the things mentioned but there were some I was not completly aware of such as http and https. The presenter spoke very clearly at a good pace and there lot sof useful pieces of supplementary information to read. Suggestion As a remote worker I would suggest that something is included on those working from home. Also i would suggest something regarding applications to join for example conferences adn ensuring that there is an awareness to close in case conversations could be overheard. Also the pop ups which can appear when someone is delivering a presentation on a shared platform.
