So so interesting!!!
One major thing I want to mention is that in my humble opinion it takes a special kind of someone to look after/care for someone with Dementia……the patience, the understanding, the care…….I take my hat off to all those carers who are doing it with the right motive and compassion. Alas, here in South Africa, we have many carers who are merely doing their work as a paid job…there is no compassion…. we have seen footage how carers abuse the elderly and those with Alzheimer's and/or Dementia. Thank you so much for allowing me to do this course. It'll definitely help me in my mission to seafarers. God bless!
Great awareness raising course
Simply explained and uncomplicated to give a clear understanding with good tips for management
Clear, compassionate, and comprehensive
Logically and helpfully set out, with plenty of time and opportunity to go back over anything as necessary. Good tone and approach, whether for a family carer, a volunteer or a professional carer, and useful practical tips, as well as sources of additional help.
