Informative and important
Another good course which may be of great importance at some point. Even though we think that such an occasion will never happen, it is good to have the knowledge and awareness in case it ever does.
Very good material and informative
the course and content is very good and gives good insight into this topic, only issue i seen on this course was with regards to the dounreay site is when the contact number is given on the course its not the correct one for the site which could confuse some people especially if they are new to the site.

Good and informative
I found this course interesting and informative. I was not aware of the different fire extinguishers and that you should not use certain extinguishers for certain types of fires. The course was short and to the point and explained different aspects of fire awareness in an easy to understand manner.

Delivered well
Very good module, although there are some repetition on with the H&S module. The bit on the different fire extinguishers on the different fire types is very important and should be given more prominence by mini questions in the module to reinforce the knowledge

Very clear
Very useful to see how to use a fire extinguisher instead of just learning about their uses. Very clear.
Bland and information could be clearer.
I’m not a fan of online courses, as they are often bland, with a clinical approach. The voice over was monotonous and slow, and I’d have preferred to read the information at my own speed so I could speed through what was obvious or I already knew, and could take longer on the sections I wanted to understand better. Having to watch a whole section over is annoying if you want to just recap a section then go forward to where you were. Instead you have to watch all the sections again. This is a real turn off. The graphics were strong, and I’d have liked less of the presenter, and just text and graphics. More clear recap pages at the end of each fire type and extinguisher to use would have been good, and the test questions focused on obvious or unimportant information, rather than the points I felt were most important or complex. I would have much preferred a booklet or print out I could read in my own
