good course
The Fire Awareness course is good and more informative, Fire is one of the most powerful natural sources,if it is controllable it is good for our daily life like cooking and industrial use and so on. If it is unfortunately beyond control, it will lead to a major disaster. Fuel, Oxygen and heat these 3 elements must be in a controlled manner in all our workplaces and home too. We have to give respect to the designated smoking area policy and we must keep flammable materials in a safe area in such a way isolating chemical chain action are use full information to avoid accidentally generating fire. The recap of fire types and fire extinguisher types and how to use in case of emergency are very useful information. The entire course module is no doubt very good recap for the offshore personnel. Thank you very much

Very thorough about fire extinguishers!
This training is ok – it certainly covers everything you need to know about fire awareness. Possibly a bit TOO much for someone who works in a purely office environment, but I understand that this training is intended for a wider audience. It's very detailed about all the different types of fire extinguishers, but I'm not sure I'll retain all that information in the event of a real fire! It really grated on me that there was a woman presenting most of the training, the sections which were demonstrating the actual use of extinguishers was done by man. It's not clear why this was deemed appropriate or necessary – maybe some Equal Opportunities training is required?!
