I needed to know how!
I have never used a fire extinguisher and was fairly unaware of a) the differences in each type, and b) the way each one should be used. I now feel that I could confidently tackle a small fire. It also made me think long and hard about the types of fire extinguisher that would be appropriate depending on circumstances. It's made me realise that the fire extinguisher I bought my Mum for her kitchen may not be the right one and I need to check!!

I saw the fire extinguisher in lots of public place, but I never ever learned how to use them, I even didn't know there are different types of fire extinguishers for different type of firers , thanks today's training I learned a lots.

I learned new bits and it refreshed my memory from past training many years ago in previous jobs.

The course gave clear training on how and on what fires the exingisher should be used and gave an important message only tackle a fire if it’s small, safe, you have the correct equipment and you are confident other wise get out and stay out
