IMPORTANT REMINDER
This was a useful reminder on how you should react when a Fire Alarm goes off. Stay Calm and vacate the building as soon as possible and do not wait on others to direct you. Also it prompts you to make yourself and people around you of Fire Exits and procedures for vacating the premises you work in. These are important facts which we all need to be reminded about on a regular basis.

Why sweep the floor?
Your course mentions fire marshals should sweep the floor in the event of the fire alarm being raised. Surely this is no time to begin cleaning? Perhaps if combustible materials had been disposed of before the fire…
