Important role in a company to have a person appointed as first aid person, who coordinates any emergency but not providing any first aid if not qualified.

An essential course for every employee to do
I would strongly recommend this course for every employee to do to help them gain a basic understanding of first aid applied in a work environment.
Factual and Informative
As someone with no First Aid training I found this material useful and relevant. I work in a busy public library where we serve the whole community from pre-school children to senior citizens. While accidents and emergencies are rare the situation in the building is changing all the time so being able to be responsive is important. I now know in principle how to assess a medical casualty as well as keep them comfortable while awaiting the emergency services. I also understand that The First Aid Officer must ensure the kit is provided but may not have a specific training in the discipline.
