Very Interesting course on data
I found the course interesting as so many websites start by seeking to obtain blanket consent for your personal data. (I always reject all marketing and 'personalisation' cookies.) The course was a good summary of all our individual responsibilities for processing data.

an abundance of information
A great deal of information that was a little overwhelming but was split into manageable sections clearly explained. I liked the extra contents that was available to download so you are able to refer back to later if needed. I liked the visual slides e.g. rights of individuals.

Clear and easily processed information.
The content was well presented in that it was in digestible chunks. It was presented in ways to suit different learning styles – visual, audio and followed up with written summary. Presenter had a good voice. I liked the graphics. Got thrown by some questions, but was doing it too fast. It was useful for me as a councillor, but probably more useful for officers. It would be good to have a follow up with some talking-head councillors giving relevant experience from organisations they are involved in.
A very helpful course.
I found this course very clear, helpful and informative. It takes you through the key issues and the essentials relating to GDPR in a way that is logical and very easy to follow. The slides are nicely constructed and very well presented. Overall, a very useful course.

The course makes it very clear why data protection is so important, tells you how and why to keep personal information safe, and is not over-long.
