Very useful and a good reminder

Informative, easy to understand

I struggled a little with the gender pronouns section (and not aware of anyone in "real life" who uses anything other than he/she etc) but I'm now more informed and equipped if the situation arises.

Very imformative

Really useful learning

Clarified some points about gender identity whilst also teaching me new information such as the range of gender neutral pronouns and terminology.

Clear and concise

TRAINING QUICK AND USEFUL

still a bit confusing

thought provoking but a bit simplistic

The course is a bit simplistic in my opinion, for what is a very complex subject. It seems at odds with traditional dictionary definitions where 'sex' and 'gender' are synonymous (while recognizing that language usage can change over time). This could lead to much confusion. As a scientist I know that biological sex is far more complicated than simply male, female and intersex.

a good introduction

Found the short course thought provoking

I found this introduction to Gender Identity and Expression really interesting and it has sparked my interest to explore this subject more. The course has given me some good pointers to discussing this subject in the work place and on a personal level. The link to Sophie Cook's story gave valuable context to the theory. I feel better equipped to challenge others and support my colleagues to create an inclusive work space.

Informative and respectful.

As the parent of a trans person, I found the course informative and respectful; this makes a refreshing change to the hostility expressed in the media. The inclusion of the link to Sophie's story is useful: I think this would enable people to gain a valuable insight into the life of a trans person.
