Informative
Definitely for operators of mechanical equipment
Very long.
Long complex and not really relevant to my job, however I sure it would be great for the construction industry.

Good as an overview
As a basic overview to LOLER it was good and explained what the main requirements are, however I feel that the planning of the lifts could have been a little more specific on who's responsibility it is to generate a lifting plan. It referred to the competent person and intimated that this would not be the person carrying out the lift, however in reality a rigger / crane driver with suitable experience and training can produce simple lift plans.
