informative. An awful lot to take in

In moving and handling people, we need to understand how the back works and how to lift without causing injury to the person or ourselves. As far as possible, we guide and support people to move rather than lifting them per se. Communication is key and we need to explain clearly to the individual what we are doing and listen carefully to their feedback. It's important to check that any equipment we use is in good working order, that we are properly trained in its use and to follow procedure correctly to ensure safe handling/moving.

Excellent

Again, this course was explained very clearly with good, clear instruction with images and video instruction.

Mostly not applicable

Most of the information not applicable to our school environment.

Informative educational tool. However, very rarely moving and handling people is an "never" encounter activity. It's good to know – just in case an such an event should occur.

Informative.

Good Course. Covered all aspects of moving and handling in simple terms. No surprises when taking the quiz. Good examples on video, as well. Easy to understand.

VERY USER FRIENDLY

NOTICED THAT NO MENTION WAS MADE ON THE CORRECT WAY TO MOVE A BED WHEN TRANSPORT OF A PATIENT IS NEEDED.

too long!
