Clear, concise, enjoyable.
Good course. Created awareness and clearly taught and set out.
mostly good but…
As vital as first aid training. It provides clear and concise life saving advice. The course content and the automated reminders to complete the course could and should be adapted/made safe to take into account that some of those having to complete this training will have lived experience of abuse. The course will be viewed and responded to by adult survivors of abuse who could find it very distressing and harmful without appropriate safeguarding provision in place.
Useful to help remind of process

First class course that suited my needs
Useful and informative.
This was my first time completing adult safeguarding training and I found the training to be really thorough, useful and informative. I enjoyed completing it and feel better informed.
Comprehensive and informative
A comprehensive and informative online training module. The resources were helpful in looking in greater depth and certain areas/ themes.

Useful but overwhelming and confusing.
There is a question with an ambiguous answer, the one about children appearing dirty and unkempt as a sign of abuse. The 'correct' answer is the type of abuse is neglect, but this can also be a sign of physical (sexual) abuse. The course tells you that you do not need to know the type of abuse in order to report, so the question seems irrelevant because if the child appears to be in a condition that raises concern you should just report regardless, or talk to the child to find out how they are. I also felt there was a lot of emphasis on listing types of abuse, but not enough training on how to talk to children that are disclosing, what the right questions to ask are (or what the wrong ones are). It would be better if this course could split out the level 2 safeguarding training, as those who only need level 1 are given too much information for it to be effective training, especially when they do not work in a setting that requires contact
Well Presented
Another well structured and delivered training presentation for what is a complexed and emotive subject. Good pace and use of summarizing to keep things focused. The multiple choice test was a fair reflection of the content covered.
