Accessible and straightforward programme
It covered all the relevant information in a concise way whiac allowed explanation where necessary.
Overall very good.
There was one question that when a child makes a disclosure to you what should you do first. I put down record ,as make notes while the child is telling you about the complaint. I know that the right answer is go to the DSL first but I thought I would need some notes taken when the child is disclosing to me what happened.
Interesting and comprehensive
I found the new level 2 safeguarding training interesting, engaging and comprehensive. There was a great deal more information than the previous course that I took in 2019. I learned a lot and thought that the presenters where particularly good.

Staying on-track
Found the course easy to follow, but I've been having safeguarding training and experience for over 30yrs, so everything was straightforward. Not sure any one new to the complexities of safeguarding would feel the same way. I think actual case histories would give greater understanding for someone new to this course.

Clear concise video clips with back-up information and diagrams to follow each. Veru useful to be able to undertake the course in sections and come back automatically to the next section each time.
