Trigger warnings.

There should have been some warnings at the start about what the course content was going to cover. I'm trying to do this course in between family commitments and it's "female genital mutilation" and "emotional abuse" topics…..there were some heavy subjects to crop up as a course user.

very effective course

suitable for anyone working within children's service. effective course as a mum, as a teacher as well. Thank you!

Excellent presenters and clear content

I've listened to a lot of online courses for work and most do not hold your attention – this did by delivering genuine 'bite size' videos, enabling breaks and preventing your attention from wandering. The presenters were very clear and easy to watch and listen to – no background distractions – and the content was concise and informative. Great job!

Learned something new. Thank You

I have completed quite a lot of safeguarding training during my career of working with children and this was the first one that i had heard of Breast ironing. Thank you this was very informative.

A well presented and professional course

The course outline was cleared, and provided a visual update of where I was throughout the course; that type of visual, advance organisation is important when taking notes and concentrating on key ideas. Another good strategy was the questions throughout the session, not just a quiz at the end. This type of formative assessment leads to better understanding and a higher recall of information. Additionally, the presenters modelled calm and professional language throughout the presentation, even though the content is of course quite 'heavy'. Well done.
