Brilliant course fit for purpose
Safeguarding Children Training is a brilliant course that is fit for purpose. It is straightforward with only essential content, yet provides resources and links for in-depth learning. It is easy to understand due to its thoughtful arrangement of materials and language. The questions and answers embedded within the course content enable the training to be interactive and I really loved it.

It was easy to follow
One things I did take issue with was the questions on reporting. The question asked wether to report to DSL first or write down the record of what the child said. I answered report to DSL first and was told it was incorrect However the transcript says, 'You need to report the matter to your DSL. You then need to make a detailed and accurate written record about what has happened.'
Memorable, simple, clear.
This is the best safeguarding training I've ever done. It covered all the topics while keeping a positive and warm tone. It didn't trigger anything for me in terms of my own experiences, where as previous courses I have taken have done. Information is memorable, thanks to clear explanations and accompanying graphics and video. Loved the animations! Information is simple, clear, concise. Broke down a big scary topic into manageable chunks. Loved the LGBTQ+ inclusion in the content, normally that's missing! Thanks and well done to the creators of this training.
