Very clear and engaging training

I think it can be slightly harmful to state that CSE isn‚Äôt a common abuse. Being involved in CSE as a teen and working in children‚Äôs residential I think it‚Äôs an inappropriate thing to highlight. This is giving an opinion that all the other abuses are more relevant in a thought process and subsides the victim impact of CSE. The name county lines is derived from the distribution line, the name of the line, is the link to the phone line. And making it a blanket black and white way of communicating with a child about disclosures isn‚Äôt appropriate either – children with special needs will need more coaxing and questions to speak. I think also mentioning in the course that children struggle to communicate verbally about their abuse is common so they could write, draw and this is still a disclosure. I‚Äôm really disappointed that this is a known course being used. But also why is their a 3 l

Excellent and concise.

I was annoyed with myself for getting a lower mark than last time. I knew the answers, but I was confused in the way some of the questions were asked.

Very informative.

This course provides clear and descriptive information in regard the different types of abuse alongside the common warning signs. It also clearly sets out how the safeguarding procedure should be followed and the approach which should be taken.

Engaging and informative.

Maybe a little more on whistleblowing would have been useful. How staff can protect themselves from allegations. Staff conduct etc.

Very good course

it was an excellent course. I feel confident in carrying out my role. Should the situation arise I now know what to do and how to report it, to safeguard any child.
