A clear and informative training package
This online training package is ideal for all staff who work in schools. It covers all aspects of child protection and safeguarding in a clear and informative way. It is useful for a refresher to ensure practices and procedures are followed by everyone working with children. I have given it 4 stars as I think face to face training is still extremely valuable because of the conversations and discussions that can be had.

Sometimes case studies are useful especially if staff are inexperienced with Safeguarding issues.
Query about recording issue.
If a child told me about abuse toward them, I would listen and pay careful attention to what they said, and when they have gone, I would make good detail notes, so that I did not just have to depend on my memory to make the written report at a later date. I would talk to the DSO, but should want to be sure about what I had heard and how I understood it.

Thorough and well presented
A comprehensive guide to the main elements of safeguarding children. The material was thoughtfully and sensitively presented. The course leaves you with a much better understanding of what to be aware of in this difficult field, the various strategies and support systems that are available and how to take the important steps that are sometimes necessary.

Well structured, delivered in manageable chunks, with main aspects and important information telegraphed throughout. However more spacing required between the questions in the Test some have big fingers and inadvertently touch the wrong key. There is also difficulty with the voice of the presenter dipping at the end of sentences and lowering the voice with certain words. I am partially deaf.
