Safeguarding Children Training Reviews

This is a huge improvement of the online safeguarding training we have had to complete in the past. The presentation is very well structured, clearly presented, visually appealing and packed with information. To the degree that I found this interesting and quite enjoyed completing it. My one criticism would be that a couple of the test questions were phrased in an unnecessarily convoluted way (double negatives etc). Surely this is not the place to test participants on their understanding of the subtleties of the English language.

This was excellent online training – areas in relation to 'Scapegoating' and 'Breast Ironing' were very informative. Having spent a number of years as a DSL in a Secondary School , these areas were not covered on previous training.

Perhaps you can add in what to do if you suspect or witness safeguarding issues outside your own work environment or within your own family. We are taught abuse is often from within the child's family or friends but there is no mention of how to approach this & it is a much harder situation to deal with than if in a work place.

An informative course that made me more aware of possible signs of child abuse and neglect.

This course was very convenient and was not time consuming. a lot of information was covered in the course and the short test at the end was a good way to test my knowledge and understanding at the end of the course!
