easy to understand course

gave a good overall outline of safeguarding

Excellent course

Very clear and concise delivery of information. Covering all aspects of safeguarding.

In depth but not long to complete.

The course has been very good and beneficial and has supported my knowledge of safeguarding. The course was really easy to complete with more videos than text. Giving an in-depth understanding but without being overly long to complete.

very thorough briefing

An excellent course if you are employed with direct interaction with children. However, as a 'basic' introduction it is way too detailed. I have no contact with children whatsoever in a profesional capacity. While I appreciate that all employees should have a basic understanding of child protection, after all we all need to help protect children, this course went into far too much detail. I felt as though the presentation was aimed at teachers, social workers et al, as opposed to all general employees.

Very informative

I found the course easy to listen to, and like the fact you can also read the dialogue

Overall the course was Ok

The course was OK and there was important content. I do not think that the questions at the end should be written to trick you. True or False statements where you have to read the question could prove difficult for some people. Also where the words are slightly different to trip you up. This doesn't test the person's knowledge, just how they can read a question.

Clear summery and straightforward explan

This was a good source of information, well presented and clear guidelines. Having the script available was essential to consolidate the video information.

Very thorough

Having worked as a teacher in a primary school, i have had a great deal of safeguarding training. However, this introduced me to some forms of abuse that i was previously unfamiliar with. There was a great deal of infomation to absorb, but I think the training successfully highlighted the need to follow your gut instinct and act, even if you are unsure of exactly whether any abuse may be taking place.
