Fantastic

Very informative training session, delved into some subjects that are not usually covered in many out of date safeguarding textbooks and presentations such as FGM, faith abuse, breast ironing, different types of abuse (we now have more incidences of online bullying/emotional abuse and so forth) therefore I found the training session incredibly beneficial and gave me an additional insight into safeguarding children. It was aimed more towards school-age children so I would be interested to know if there is a possibility of receiving a training session on safeguarding young adults in FE who may be living at home with parents/guardians and are showing warning signs of abuse- which steps to take as staff members etc. Otherwise a great training activity.

Safeguarding Training

I have completed the training on Keeping Children Safe,Safeguarding Adults Prevent and this training. I have learnt a lot but have benefited from completing all the units as they overlap each other at times.

Informative

I feel this part of the Safeguarding training was easier to absorb the as you could listen to the information given. Again important for teachers and anyone working with young people to know the signs and how to report etc.

a concise, and engaging package

the presenters were clear, engaging and interesting, the content easy to follow.

Again & although better, 5 Stars "But"

A lot like all the previous courses, but i liked this one better but for a few points. It contains /covers a lot of information and additional resources. Far too much/many to retain in detail. Can I assume that I will be able to access this again should a question come up. Although a "Quick access" method would be preferred to having to watch the hole hour again. I am also concerned that the information may be out of date "Welsh law re- Smacking" for example, I would also question the suitability of the sort of "Private" 1 to 1 "interviews" that were shown taking place. And although the including of "Faith Abuse" and "Beast Ironing" is a nice "New" addition to previous courses , it unfortunately raises once again, my main objection to this form of "learning". The fact that it give no means to question or even cross examine statements I do not understand. However the content past the First "R" was better

Up to date and relevant.

The Safeguarding Children Level 2 was quite comprehensive whilst being run at a comfortable pace. One of the best ones I have completed.

Informative, reliable and important

I found this course very useful especially in reporting suspected abuse even if it turns out to be false. Personally I would recommend this course for any Tutors, Support Staff or anyone who works close with the students. There was mention of a Care Certificate which the Safeguarding Children Training was also based around which I would be interested to take as I enjoyed this course very much.

great

Very informative and straight to the point.

Accessible

Thank you for this. I thought the course was both precise and informative.
