Too repetitive of previous course
The content is about 75% the same as the Unconscious Bias Training for Employees. Perhaps I was only meant to do one of the courses…!

Good intro to Unconscious Bias
We learn unconscious bias throughout our lives and this course was excellent at showing you how this happens and tools to challenge our beliefs.

Very enlightening and informative
Very enlightening and informative !!! There are things we take for granted and also those we do not realise we are doing subconsciously. This training highlights both. A positive reminder and informed "balance and checks".

Not hitting all the requirements
Covers awareness, acknowledgement, challenging yourself through training thoughts and common biases, but doesn't cover (1) challenge of others, or (2) fear of stigmatisation where open about biases and thus vulnerable to being labelled. This is likely to result in staff being unable to talk about personal views and addressing mistakes. Overcoming this fear and promoting a culture of openness and vulnerability is essential for creating a safe place where staff feel comfortable confronting and addressing their biases.

Really gave me some food for thought
A thought-provoking course with some excellent resources, I have downloaded ACT and the types of bias to put on my wall as a reminder when I feel like I am falling into a bias!
