New Training Course – Managing Anxiety
Posted 4 years ago
We are pleased to announce that our Managing Anxiety Training course is now live!
Anxiety management is a topic that has been on our radar for a while, but we decided there was a need to push this course further up the agenda during this time of uncertainty amidst the pandemic.
Whilst a global pandemic was bound to make some of us feel anxious, it’s unknown to what extent the pandemic has affected each and every person. Hence why it’s necessary for employers to ensure that their staff understand how to deal with anxiety, particularly if their behaviours, both in and/or out of the workplace have drastically changed. For example, working from home may pose a more difficult challenge for some individuals, which is why a “one size fits all” approach to workplace mental health support is not the way forward.
Whilst more than two-thirds of adults in the UK (69%) report feeling worried about the effect COVID-19 is having on their life, a further 56% have reported feeling stressed or anxious. And prior to COVID-19, around 600,000 UK workers suffered from work-related stress, depression, or anxiety.
Evidently, some extra support is needed to help people cope with the pressures of day-to-day life.
After research began for the course, we also became aware of how beneficial tackling workplace anxiety is for businesses. With 12.8 million working days lost each year in the UK due to work-related stress, depression, or anxiety, employers can expect a major boost in productivity if they support their employees properly.
In fact, it is said that for every £1 an organisation invests in supporting the mental health of their employees, they can see an average of a £4.20 return!
This CPD Accredited online course, which is the latest addition to our Mental Health & Wellbeing Course Bundle, aims to give the user an understanding of the types of anxiety, what causes them, and how to approach anxious thoughts.
It is suitable for all levels of staff. In fact, we advise that all members of staff are given an understanding of anxiety in the workplace in one way or another!
We want as many people as possible to try this course; in just 25 minutes you’ll learn tips and tricks to help eliminate anxiety from your day-to-day life and you can take this course for free today. We’ll also grant you full access to our entire course library for 24 hours! Simply fill out the form below…
