About this course

Within the patriarchal society that we live in, women are also natural-born leaders, yet their talents, skills, and ambitions are often unnoticed, underestimated, undercompensated, and undervalued.

This course focuses less on the “matri-” and the “patri-” about this *archy, and supports women in nurturing the best qualities in all humans and collaborating as equals to find a more sustainable and fulfilling way of living, working, and thriving.

This training speaks directly to women who are ready to find, or reignite, their passion and capacity for leadership, and it’s also a request of men and people of all gender identities – to strengthen their own leadership skills and allyship for women.

The course is packed with tools, tasks, and insights that provide a starting point for women who’re emerging and upskilling as leaders, a regrouping tool for experienced women leaders who want to realign or smash through that glass ceiling, and actions for all proactive allies who’re in a position to facilitate positive change.

Overall very good

There was one question, that made no sense at all. So, my answer was really a gamble and it was incorrect. Never mind, I passed anyway.

Excellent

The course has given me the knowledge and understanding some things that can cause fire like sticking too many plugs on one socket, hot oil and candles unattended .Raise alarm when there is a fire, not to take lift .

Why is this training important?

Compliance

It’s important that you comply with the law and know the ways in which it affects you and the way you work.

Equality and Diversity is about acknowledging that everybody has a right to fair and equal treatment, irrespective of gender or any other characteristic. Originally, workplace legislation surrounding these rights was considered something of a ‘grey area’; with around 116 separate laws existing under the broad umbrella of ‘equality and diversity’. In October 2010, these were, at last, merged into one coherent act: The Equality Act 2010.

The Equality Act includes ‘Protected Characteristics’ which are differences between people which cannot be used as reasons to treat them any differently. Doing this would be against the law. This act also includes ‘Prohibited Conduct’ which are actions that people are not allowed to do to each other on the basis of any of the protected characteristics. This is illegal too.
