Informative and easy to understand
I enjoyed the fact it was videos as it was visual as well as verbal and reading. It didn’t take long and was very informative.

Good introduction for assessing MC
Good introduction to assessing Mental Capacity keeping the individual at the heart of the process. Detailing 5 principles – assume capacity unless you can prove otherwise, how to help support people to make their own decisions, identify if a decision is wise/appropriate, keeping best interests for the individual and causing least restrictions. List of everyone who should and can be involved. How to ensure you give relevant info, communicate appropriately, put person at ease and how to be supportive. Details of how the 2 stage assessment should be carried out. Keep records.
