Direct Approach is Always Implied
If you are directly bullied your response is direct feedback to the perpetrator(s). So confronting the bully is almost automatic. Usually the best response is to get them to repeat the action – many rethink at that point. Usually the perpetrator of indirect bullying is only suspected – so no confrontation should occur. If a confrontation happens the victim can be cast as the initiator. This consequence of this eventuality was not made clear. Also – now many people have recording phones – what is the policy on recording bullying behaviour.
