The Communication Skills training was clear and concise

The training made me aware that communication is more than verbal. The illustration of a 'message in a bottle' if opened and read by a person years into the future is still a communication between two people – is something that I had not thought about before, and is quite profound when you think about it!

An interesting course conveying information which is normally second nature to most mature and/or emotionally intelligent people. Sometimes people mistake assertiveness for hostility, which is really only a reflection of their own lack of confidence, intelligence and maturity when they incorrectly assume an assertive sentence directed at them is hostile which, may lead them to respond in an immature reactive manner. I agree with the presenter of this workshop that you should always be true to yourself whilst respectful of others. Another good point the presenter made was that active listening is key for good communication.
