Brilliant insight

Brilliant insight and refresher for people that suffer from disability. I have completed all the 14 assignements. Some feedback would be to make it more engaging by pausing more and asking questions rather than having the tests only at the ends.

Very informative and educational

Helped to correct some misconstrued thoughts.

Good course

Really enjoyed this course. The content was really good and it explains everything in detail so everyone can understand.

Disability Awareness Training

I found the Disability Awareness Training very interesting, informative and thought provoking because it asked me to think and to challenged how I think. It also informed me and explained how to get support if I was ever feeling harassed at work or need reasonable adjustments in the future etc. I enjoyed this training it was easy to understand and was interesting.

An excellent course

A great course which educates you about the different types of disabilities and not to make assumptions that all disabled people need assistance. Also, not all disabilities are the same and people with the same disabilities can often have different needs.

Very interesting and well explained.

It really makes you think and reflect. A few quotes are unforgettable. I really loved the way she talks and he clarity of every concept. Considering I'm Italian, it's very inspiring.

the course gives conflicting messages

the course clearly emphasise we should adopt the social model of disability and use appropriate language focussing on the person, but then it consistently refer to disabilities/people with disabilities rather than impairments/people with impairment suggesting that the disability is something the person HAS rather than something that the environment create, i.e. exactly the opposite of what the social model say
