"Gender"
This heading: "/ 3. The Protected Characteristics / 3.1 The Protected Characteristics / Gender Identity" appears to be falsely implying that "gender identity" is a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010. A couple of times, the lecture mentioned sex being "assigned at birth." Sex is observed at birth, not "assigned." I think they also mentioned "gender identity" being assigned at birth. I may have picked that up wrong. I hope so, because it would be a strange assertion. Does the birth certificate have a box for "gender identity," separate from sex?
Good Overview
Good overview and interesting comments about sexuality and gender
Great videos, patchy testing
I really liked the video content – I think it was clear without being patronising, and communicated sensitive topics appropriately. I feel the testing could have been improved – most questions had a very obvious correct answer (eg. two were negative and only one positive) and most didn't require prior watching of the videos.
i like the people in the videos

Thorough explanations
I enjoyed this course, the explanations were very clear and I feel confident in the training I received. The only negative was the sound quality of the voice recording during the start of the video. I don't think it was my equipment.
informative
I found this course was quite informative and gave me good awareness which I feel is required in this field
Genuinely about inclusion
I’m non-binary and have worked in a variety of places and settings and this was the only and first training to actually acknowledge non-binary people and pronouns and I appreciated it a lot. A lot of places skip over NB identities because it’s not legally recognised but we still exist and it’s nice to feel seen.
does not hold its content used
I am not sure that this will be a help, as the course has suggested, after being in my BU for 24 years
Informative
I found the event very useful and informative in equality, diversity & Inclusion for work purposes. They was good examples and explanations of each of the subject areas and plenty of referrence material for further reading.
