Very good course well worth taking
Learnt and will be on google to learn more and understand some of the words used as never heard them before and I am glad I took the course to make me more aware of the impact I can have by not know
Concise and informative
The course conveyed the information clearly and simply and was of an appropriate length to optimise retention.
This was a great awareness session
This session was clear and provided the right information and the right pace for me to better understand this subject
Very Informative Course
Before completing the course, I was unaware of the various terms associated with gender identity or how gender identity was defined. I was apprehensive about speaking with individuals who identify differently than their assigned gender at birth for fear of offending the individuals. The course has given me greater clarity on gender identity and greater confidence to speak with those who identify themselves differently than their assigned gender at birth.
informative, clear and factional
Gender identity is how a person sees themselves, It is their own internal sense and personal experience of gender. It is important to express your gender identity, it is central to your mental health and wellbeing. Transgender people should not have to hide their gender expression in public for fear of negative reactions, violence or discrimination. This course encourages respect, be respectful of an individual's affirmed gender identity. Be an ally and advocate, do the research.
