Essential information

Very important information essential for all people working with children and young people. A lot of it repeated from other courses but a refresher at beginning of year essential. Easy to understand and access. Enjoyed other courses more when someone presented the information but still a very useful training session.

Excellent, clear and very informative

New and refreshed knowledge.

Enough information to make people aware of all areas of keeping children safe and what to look out for, without an overload of information that you could possible be overwhelmed by causing confusion.

Very good

Excellent

Duplicating the safeguarding course

Most of the course was a written version of the Part 2 Safeguarding video course.

Lot of duplication

Could have been cut in half, lot of statements reiterated

Appropriate info but not very engaging.

This subject i feel would have been better covered as a workshop activity prior to questions to enhance learning and focus on the importance of points that could be discussed and any questions supported and clarified especially for new staff. Multisensory learning stays in your memory far better than simply reading info and answering questions on a computer. No situation of examples were available for discussion and having these within a workshop environment i feel would be beneficial.

Good information source

The course provides a good source of information and guidance.
