Thorough but not overtaxing
I completed this course as part of a new volunteering role with Versus Arthritis, and it was thorough enough to make me feel fairly confident about what to do to ensure I maintain people's wellbeing and independence, and to protect from any form of abuse, neglect or harm. I did have some prior knowledge in this area but I found the course to be effective in crystallising that knowledge and it gave me up-to-date information in a clear, precise and easy to follow format. I recommend this course, especially in the care sector, as a good grounding for all aspects of safeguarding and maintaining a persons' dignity and autonomy.

Comprehensive guide to adult safeguarding
A well balanced course
The short sections with a summary after each was a good approach. Whilst it's preferably to complete the course in one sitting, the ability to pause the course & go back is also helpful. The test at the end ensured that participants were diligent in their learning.
Easy to follow simple explanations.
The course material was good. The additional material was easy to access. Still think there should be an opportunity in the test to check you have given the answer you intended to give – not a simple error by hitting wrong button which is very easy to do. No chance to correct a mistake even if you immediately know you have made it.
Good
This training as well as all the others, I found very useful and helpful.
Good
It’s a good idea, helps to know more about what we are should do as carers
An enjoyable way of learning.
Easy to understand , and makes the learning process straightforward . The course is broken down into bite size segments, so each can be revisited if necessary , before moving to the next.
