It is important that the staff should be aware of all those signs mentioned in the training so they can reach out to the children who are experiencing this. Most kids will not open up by themselves because they are too afraid and traumatised already so we should be able to detect the signs and provide help accordingly

This course helps me understand well abuse, the sources and the impact – and how one should react in the front line. However, I am a school governor. I have almost zero contact with children but I do have a range of responsibilties as a governor which are beyond the scope of this course. I suggest you need to design another course which demonstrates and tests best practice at board level.
