This is an excellent online course.
The training provides a comprehensive summary of the key areas which teachers need to aware of. The presentation is good but invariably the amount of content that has to be covered in a hour makes it very didactic. The repetition of the key points and especially the links between the various different forms of abuse emphasise the importance of vigilance and objectivity. There is also an emphasis on support for staff, which is particularly important for the new teachers coming into the profession who may well lack the confidence to challenge some of these crucial issues of child protection.

I feel the content was clearly delivered with useful summaries after each topic. I appreciated being able to dip in and out to fit into my schedule.
Good to have a refresher.
I enjoyed being able to this training in my own time and getting a chance to look back on issues that may arise within childcare and knowing possible signs. Although not pleasant to hear/read/witness, it is vitally important to be aware of and knowing the correct procedures to follow. Many thanks

An excellent training session.
A clearly presented and detailed course addressing the safeguarding of children, with relevant resources and web addresses provided. It was very easy to navigate through the material and there were helpful summaries for each topic area.
Very informative and intense
A lot of essential information that helps guide you and support you in the appropriate manner. A lot of information to absorb, some of it is not easy watching but it is so important to understand how to deal with.
