Good reminder

Excellent course for someone with years of experience that is now out of date. Feel much more confident now. Would be good to have to slides available after the course as a resource.

Very good.

I felt that it covered everything well. The speaker had a clear and easy to listen to voice.

Nicely presented.

The style and pace was very good. I felt a bit miffed because I found I had an hour spare on Friday afternoon at 4pm, so thought doing a one hour course would be fine. The course and test took 1 hour 20, so I didn't finish until 5.20, which wasn't great. One of the videos kept buffering and I waited for it to play, so I lost some time there. I came back to it and it still did not play. It played a few minutes, then just buffered. It was the one about having the support of family. Perhaps there is a problem there. I also thought it did not seem tailored to a college environment, more suitable for school work. Obviously safeguarding continues in college, but I would have expected the content to be specific to teenagers.

Lots of concise and relevant information

I liked the short sections and bullet points. There was a lot covered in the hour and it reminded me of the what I have covered before and I think some things I had not including Faith Abuse. The presentations were clear and easy to navigate.

Very good

clear and concise

Good and clear illustrations without showing real-life situations

Covers basics

This would be good if you had never done any safeguarding training before, but was very slow and basic for people who are used to doing updates each year. Also didn’t refer to any serious case reviews or cases that would help bring it to life a little.

Far too detailed and long for our role
