I have learnt there are 3 different points when recruiting which is DETER, IDENTIFY & REJECT, PREVENT & REJECT. I have learnt laws & policies included in safer recruitment is Safer Recruitment Policy, Equality & Diversity, Rehabilitation of Offenders Policy. I have learnt that proof of identity is required such as passport & birth certificate which must include Name, DOB, Address & photographic identity.

Interesting and informative.
A lot to take in but made easier by being able to easily go back over different sections. Well planned and easy to listen to. Seemed to cover all that is needed.

Clear explanations taken at a good pace
Excellent course but included EU citizens as not needing a work permit without mentioning whether this would change once Brexit was fully in place or if this was the case despite Brexit. I would have liked clarification and will need to resort to the government website.
