Sexual Harassment Awareness Training Reviews

Given that the first statistic shows that women are more affected by sexual harassment than men, it seemed like quite an odd (and offensive) choice to have nearly all the examples used be ones where the man was the victim of sexual harassment. There was only one where the female was the victim. The rate of male violence against women (and other men) are increasing, and yet this training seemed to be saying that women are as guilty as men…. I felt it was quite a politically charged choice. The entire training was aggravating, as I felt it undermined my experiences, and the experiences that women in the workforce have faced for decades. I also felt it would be more useful to have a section explaining what happens when someone who is your friend and co-worker oversteps a line, as that is an example where people need guidance. It is much harder to report someone who is a good friend when you know that they may face a disciplinary but may have misread a situation.
