not so accessible & tailed off
There was a lot of waffly preamble before getting to the meat of the matter and then tailed off.
Good overall coverage of the subject
Would have benefitted from some further reading options and maybe additional support that not only helps seeing our own biases but also when to see others biases towards us. The presenter was very clear and easy to follow and the subject well broken up into chunks. Is assumes a less than base level knowledge, but I understand it needs to cover those who've not had bias training at all. While I liked the Project Implicit link I found these to be more relevant to US biases/culture rather than some more common UK/EU ones.
Unconscious bias training
Useful, informative, well delivered. I learnt a few things!
Some interesting info but painfully slow
Some interesting points, but the presentation of this was very slow, and could have been done in 10-15 minutes instead of 30+ minutes – as a result I switched off mentally and just let each video run by itself in the background and skimmed the transcript for most sections. There was no option to speed up the video on the slow bits or just confirm you'd read the transcript (which took less than half the time). Some of the "quiz" at the end was almost insultingly simple.
A fascinating look at our brains!
Unconcious bias training was fascinating for me. It really made me think about….how I think! I can now use it in my fundraising role and within my working team. Thank you ihasco training.
