Very clear and informative course

This course was very clear and informative. I found it interesting and it certainly made me think about myself and the decisions I might be making without being aware of why I am making such decisions. A good course that is suitable for all staff members.

Does what it says on the tin

Although slightly boring in most parts, the course is informative and delivers the content in a precise way.

Too long

A brilliant course, but maybe could be condensed a little.

ok

This was hard to get a grip with, I didn't realise there was so much wrong with how people think.

Fairly easy to navigate

While not really relevant to our situation, it was thought-provoking, though slightly inclined to overegg the pudding. Could all be summed up in 'keep an open mind'.

Poor and inadequate wording

Bias in recruitment can be a significant problem and awareness of its potential is really useful for those involved in it. However the presentation was frequently awfully or vaguely worded. "Trust your instincts -but challenge them" is a fine and typical example. OED definition of 'trust' = "acceptance of the truth of a statement without evidence or investigation". Technically sound stuff and, of course, it will raise awareness in participants. Overall, I was disappointed though.

Gives awareness

Gives awareness in a positive, easy to understand format.

A sound overview of unconscious bias.

This training should be part of the introduction for all new employees.

Well presented

Interesting and informative.
