Useful for a feeling of being not on your own when you are. A useful course to prompt about practicalities

Having gone through this course it has now made me more aware of what I am doing, where I am and how to keep myself safe when I am working alone. When entering a persons home I will now think of where the exits are if I know they can be volatile. Communication and keeping calm is also key when in this type of situation

This course helps you to focus on aspects of lone worker safety that might seem obvious, but which can all too easily be overlooked, especially if you are in a hurry at work or distracted by something else. Most of it came across to me as 'common sense reminders', yet there were a few things here that were usefully clarified or updated. Safety should always be a priority in the workplace, and this is an area which is not necessarily pleasant, but can't be ignored or minimised.
